Usage

This template is used on a Person page to explicitly indicate that a person participated in a historically recognized battle or military action.

To use it, you use "Add event/fact" to create a fact of type "Military", then invoke this template by placing text of the following form in the "Description" field of the new fact: 

{{Combatant| BattleName }}

where BattleName is the name fragment of a category page with a title of the form, for example, "Agincourt" implies "Category:Battle of Agincourt". If the combatant in question was killed in the battle, then the template can be used in the description field of death.
