Template:AdoptiveChild

This template is used on a Person or Family page to show that the person or family adopted a specific person.

Usage

Place the following on the Person or Family page.

{{AdoptiveChild|PersonPageName}}

where PersonPageName is the simple page name (without the "Person:"), like "George Washington (6)".

You should also add a corresponding "AdoptiveParent" or "AdoptiveParents" template on the referenced child's Person page. That template usage should give the page name of the page you use this template on.

Suggested Placement

This template can be placed in the "Description" field of an "Other" event/fact or in the "Narrative" section.

Example

{{AdoptiveChild|George Washington (6)}}

will appear as:

Adoptive child: George Washington (6)
