General Land Office Automated Records Project -- Pre-1908 Homestead & Cash Entry Patents on CD-ROM

The Bureau of Land Management publishes this series of CD-ROMs in order to make land patent information held at the Bureau's Eastern States' Repository more accessible, while at the same time preserving the original documents. The patents may be searched by numerous fields or combinations of fields, including Patentee name, document number, and Land Office. Each CD-ROM also contains sample images and maps.

CD-ROMs have so far been issued for Arkansas, Florida, Louisiana, Michigan, and Wisconsin. Note: The Louisiana database is also available online through the Louisiana State Land Office website.
