Usage Tips

Note that this collection is growing and will change. It provides a name index and images of county marriage records acquired from local courthouses. Currently this collection is 79% complete. Additional records will be added as they are completed.

Ancestry has added a copy of this database to its collection (it links back to the information on the FamilySearch website), but names it "Ohio, County Marriages, 1774-1993." Based on a spot check on both sites, FamilySearch does not appear to have marriages more recent than 1993, and that both have a handful of records from 1774, and none others between 1774 and 1789.
