Section 1: Eleven ships that departed from Santa Cruz, Tenerife and Havana, Cuba between 1778 - 1783 and arrived in Louisiana with recruits from the Canary Islands. This section contains images of the 11 original ship lists and a consolidated, alphabetized index of passenger names. Supplemental naming information found in the Louisiana Catholic Church records has been appended to aid in identification.

Section 2: Five ships that departed from Canary Islands bound for Louisiana, but reached destinations other than Louisiana. Some recruits from these ships later made their way to Louisiana in 1783 or later.
