Usage Tips

A limited number of deaths were recorded between the years of 1877 and 1917. Certificates before 1940 were filmed by the Genealogical Society of Utah, see Florida Death Certificates, 1877-1939. Ancestry.com has also provided the Florida Death Index, 1877-1998 which lists the decedent's name, county, year, volume, and certificate number for each death.
