Usage Tips

Volume B contains marriage records from 1854 to 1877. The pages are numbered so that the folio number appears on the verso. The records are single line entries of marriages containing the names of the groom and bride, date of marriage, and name of the person who performed the marriage. They are grouped by the first letter of the groom's surname. The records are not numbered.

Volume 1 contains marriage records from 1878 to 1893. The pages are numbered so that the folio number appears on the recto. The records are numbered serially throughout the volume. They include the names of the groom, bride, person who performed the ceremony, and witnesses; the location and dates of the marriage and license; the names of the parents and place of birth; their current residences and ages; and the groom's occupation.

Volume 2 contains marriage records from 1893 to 1908. The records are presented in the same fashion as in volume 1.
