Why does this page exist? [27 May 2017]

We are only supposed to create one page per location and to title it as it was named in 1900. In this case, this spot on the globe was the state of Alsace Lorraine in the German Empire for which a page already exists, Place:Elsaß-Lothringen, Germany.--cos1776 21:28, 27 May 2017 (UTC)
