Yatesbury is a village in Wiltshire, England. It is next to Cherhill, 1 mile (1.6 km) north of the A4 road between Calne and Marlborough.
Yatesbury was an ancient parish and in the 19th century became a civil parish, which was absorbed by Cherhill parish in 1934. Yatesbury today has a population of about 150. It is noted for RAF Yatesbury, which was an important training centre during World War II.
A Vision of Britain through Time provides the following description of Yatesbury from John Marius Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales of 1870-72:
- "YATESBURY, a parish in Calne [registration] district, Wilts; 4½ miles E by N of Calne [railway] station. Post town, Calne, under Chippenham. Acres: 1,667. Real property: £2,529. Population: 231. Houses: 57. The property is divided among three. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Salisbury. Value: £510. Patron: the Rev. A.Smith. The church was partly restored, partly rebuilt, in 1855. There is a Church school."
