West Caister was a parish established in 1926 from the western, inland section of Caister next Yarmouth near Great Yarmouth in Norfolk, England. In 1935 it rejoined with East Caister to form a new parish of Caister-on-Sea.

West Caister is still shown on Google Earth as a very rural location outside a built-up area.

Because East and West Caister were not formed until the 20th century, most genealogical references for the parish area will be found under the former municipality of Caister next Yarmouth.
