Totland is a village and civil parish at the western tip of the Isle of Wight, England. It lies on the coast at Colwell Bay, which is the closest part of the island to the British mainland. The village lies on the Western peninsula where the Western Yar almost cuts through along with Alum Bay and Freshwater.
The civil parish had a population of 2,927 in the UK census of 2011. Totland became a civil parish in 1894 when it was carved out the parish of Freshwater.
