Thrintoft is a village and civil parish in the Hambleton district of North Yorkshire, England. It is situated close to the River Swale, about three miles west of Northallerton.

The chapel of St Mary Magdalen, now a barn, was built during the 13th to 15th centuries. It was endowed in 1253 as a chantry chapel connected to Jervaulx Abbey and is a grade II* listed building.

Prior to the nationwide municipal reorganization of 1974, Thrintoft was located in Northallerton Rural District. Historically, it was located in the ecclesiastical parish of Ainderby Steeple in the Gilling East Wapentake. It was in the Northallerton Registration District.
