Sutton Bassett is a village and civil parish in Northamptonshire, England, in the River Welland valley.

Sutton Bassett's church, The Church of All Saints (which partly dates back to the Norman period) was built as an annexe to St. Mary's Church in the nearby village of Weston by Welland. Weston by Welland was the wikipedia:ancient parish|ancient parish]] in which Sutton Bassett was a chapelry. Unlike the majority of typical English countryside village churches, it has no graveyard.

Sutton Bassett is currently adminstered by the unitary authority of North Northamptonshire. From 1974 until April 2021 it was part of the Kettering District. It is roughly 14 miles northwest of Kettering, 12 miles west of Corby, 7 miles northeast of Desborough and roughly 4 miles from Market Harborough.
