A Vision of Britain through Time provides the following description of Stretford Hundred from John Marius Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales of 1870-72:
- "STRETFORD, ...a hundred in Hereford[shire] [which includes Weobley] ...The hundred contains 13 parishes, and 3 parts. Acres: 45,299. Population: 9,079. Houses: 1,962."
If the original map on which this sketch is based is blown up to a much higher magnification, you will find it includes many places in Herefordshire discussed on these pages. The rivers and ranges of hills are also shown.
