Squirrel Mountain Valley is a census-designated place (CDP) in the southern Sierra Nevadas, in Kern County, California, United States. Squirrel Mountain Valley is located in the Lake Isabella area northeast of Bodfish, at an elevation of .[1] The population was 547 at the 2010 census, up from 498 at the 2000 census.
