  • 1795 Municipality in 'Canton Sliedrecht, Departement der Monde van de Maas' in the Batavian Republic, later called Kingdom of Holland.
  • 1815 Municipality in the province of Zuid-Holland in Kingdom of the Netherlands.
  • 1817 Split into Sliedrecht, Naaldwijk (Alblasserwaard) and Niemandsvriend
