Salem United Methodist Church is located about 5 miles north of the town of Hebron in Porter County, Indiana, about 13 miles southwest of Valparaiso, not far off State Road 2. Located about 1/4 mile west of the last curve in Indiana State Road 2 (heading southwest from Valparaiso, first curve heading north from Hebron), the church is located just north of the old Erie Lackawanna Railroad bed and sits on the north side of the county road.
