A Vision of Britain through Time provides the following description of Radlow Hundred from John Marius Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales of 1870-72:
- "RADLOW, a hundred in the E of Hereford; containing Ashperton parish, and 22 other parishes. Acres: 52,680. Population in 1851: 14,396; in 1861: 16,316. Houses: 3,197."
If the original map on which this sketch is based is blown up to a much higher magnification, you will find it includes many places in Herefordshire discussed on these pages. The rivers and ranges of hills are also shown.
