Minnetrista is a city in Hennepin County, Minnesota, United States.[1] The originated in Dakota language, in which minne means "water" and trista means "crooked." The city is mostly rural and still has material agricultural activity, involving corn, beans, hay and horses. It is described by some as on the boundary between the rural agricultural areas and the Twin Cities. The population was 6,384 at the 2010 census.
