Llwchwr is a community (or civil parish) at the far western edge of the City and County of Swansea in Wales. Llwchwr comprises the town of Loughor and the village and district of Kingsbridge. Llwchwr has its own community council.

The population of Llwchwr community as taken at the 2011 UK census was 9,134.

The community of Llwchwr is located next to the river Loughor, near the Carmarthenshire/Swansea border. Between 1974 and 1996 it was part of the Lliw Valley district of South west Wales.

Llwchwr is bounded by the local government communities of Gowerton to the southwest, Cockett to the southeast, Gorseinon to the north and Bynea to the west.
