Llan Rhos (also called Eglwys Rhos) is a village to the east and south of Llandudno now in the Conwy County Borough, Wales. The Llanrhos parish traditionally includes Deganwy, the Craig-y-Don district of Llandudno, the Little Orme and Penrhyn Bay. Llanrhos parish was almost entirely rural until the 19th and 20th century urban and residential developments first at Deganwy, then Craig-y-Don and later Penrhyn Bay. In 1905 Llanrhos and Llandudno joined into a single parish (both ecclesiastical and civil) named Llandudno cum Eglwys Rhos. Llanrhos includes the following townships and other settlements: Bryniau, Cwm, Fferm, Gloddiath, Penlasog, Trefferi, and Tref Hir. These places have all been redircted here. For more information, see the EN Wikipedia article Llanrhos.
