Kingston on Soar is a village and civil parish in the Rushcliffe borough of Nottinghamshire, England.
Kingston on Soar was one of two parishes in this small and unusually-named rural district in the southwest corner of Nottinghamshire, England. It was established in 1894 and made up solely of the parishes of Kingston on Soar and Ratcliffe on Soar. Shardlow Rural District in over the county border in Derbyshire administered this area which was transferred to Leake Rural District in Nottinghamshire in 1927.
