A small rural district in the southwest corner of Nottinghamshire, England established in 1894 and made up solely of the parishes of Kingston on Soar and Ratcliffe on Soar. Shardlow Rural District in over the county border in Derbyshire administered this area which was transferred to Leake Rural District in Nottinghamshire in 1927. Rural districts were not supposed to cover areas in separated counties. |
