Giessen was a municipality (gemeente) in Noord-Brabant, Netherlands from 1811 until 1 Jan 1973. On 1 Jan 1973 it, along with Andel, Rijswijk, and Almkerk was merged into Woudrichem.

From 19 Sep 1814 until 10 Feb 1815 it was a gemeente located in the province Zuid-Holland.
