East Budleigh Hundred covered an area on the south coast of Devon immediately to the east of the River Exe. It is #9 on the map.
A Vision of Britain through Time provides the following description of East Budleigh Hundred from John Marius Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales of 1871-72:
- "BUDLEIGH (East), a village, a parish, a [registration] subdistrict, and a hundred in Devon. The village stands on the river Otter,.... The hundred contains twenty-one parishes. Acres: 53,739. Population in 1851: 23,178; in 1861: 22,797. Houses: 4,821."
