Cove is an ancient village turned suburb, forming the western part of Farnborough in the county of Hampshire in the southeast of England. It is located 33 miles (54 km) southwest of London. Cove is adjacent to Hawley village and Southwood.

The Farnborough workhouse was located in Workhouse Lane, Cove (now known as Union street). This workhouse was built before 1832, was closed in 1868, sold in 1871 and demolished in the 1980s. The building was named "Wilmot House", after the Lord of the manor.

From 1894 until 1932 Cove was a civil parish in Hartley Wintney Rural District. In 1932 it was abolished and divided between the civil parishes of Farnborough and Hawley, with Farnborough receiving the far larger area.

A Vision of Britain through Time provides the following description of Cove from John Marius Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales of 1870-72:

"COVE, a tything-chapelry in Yateley parish, Hants: on the South Western railway, adjacent to the boundary with Surrey, near Farnborough [railway] station, and 5½ miles NNE of Farnham. It has a post office under Farnborough Station. Real property: £1,359. Population: 671. Houses: 131. The living is a [perpetual] curacy in the diocese of Winchester. Value: £100. Patron: the Bishop of Winchester."
