Caerphilly Hundred was located on the eastern side of Glamorgan, north of Cardiff, and extended into the western side of Monmouthshire, thus including part of the parishes of Bedwas, Machen and Michaelstone y Vedw. GENUKI provides a map from 'Historic Parishes of England and Wales - Boundaries before 1850' to which the boundaries of the hundreds have been superimposed. Dates are those for earliest parish registers. (Full source notes for the original map on the GENUKI page.) [edit] List of Parishes by 1870
