Buckton is a small village, which since 1935 has been part of the civil parish of Bempton in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. It is near the North Sea coast, and about 4 miles (6 km) north of Bridlington. It lies on the B1229 road.

Buckton was originally a chapelry in the ancient parish of Bridlington in the Dickering Wapentake of the East Riding of Yorkshire. Buckton was made a civil parish in 1866 and in 1894 it became part of the Bridlington Rural District.

In 1935 it was absorbed into the neighbouring parish of Bempton, still in the Bridlington Rural District.
