Bilsdale Midcable is a geographically large civil parish in the Hambleton District of North Yorkshire, England and situated in the North York Moors National Park. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 293. Settlements in the parish are The Grange, Chop Gate (locally pronounced "Chop Yat"), Seave Green and Urra. The parish also contains Bilsdale Moor, Bilsdale East and Bilsdale West.
Prior to the nationwide municipal reorganization of 1974, Bilsdale Midcable was located in Stokesley Rural District. Historically, it was located in the ecclesiastical parish of Helmsley in the Rydale Wapentake. It was in the Stokesley Registration District. Template:North Riding Research Tips
