- "[Bayble is located] on the southeast coast of the Eye Peninsula of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides, Bayble (Gael: Phabail or Pabail) is located 6 miles (10 km) east of Stornoway and comprises the hamlets of Upper Bayble (Gael: Pabail Uarach) and Lower Bayble (Gael: Pabail Iarach) [and Eagleton], together with the rocky Bayble Bay (Gael: Bagh Phabail) and Beinn Phabail, which rises to 88m (288 feet) to the west."
