Ashby de la Zouch Rural District was a rural district in Leicestershire, England, near the town or urban district of Ashby de la Zouch. It was formed in 1894 along with most other rural districts. In 1974 it was abolished under the Local Government Act 1972, to form the non-metropolitan North West Leicestershire District.
The district originally consisted of three detached fragments. The larger part was between Ashby and Coalville. In 1936 the parish of Blackfordby (3), west of Ashby, was split and merged into the urban districts of Ashby de la Zouch and Ashby Woulds, while the parish of Bardon (2), east of Coalville, remained a detached portion of the rural district.
The list of parishes was obtained from A Vision of Britain through Time, as was the map. The Vision of Britain list included some parishes which were been transferred to Derbyshire, a number of short-lived parishes (one to five years) and a number of villages and hamlets contained within other parishes; these have not been numbered in the table below.
