Merging William Gleason and Thankful Trowbridge [2 July 2013]

I'm trying to merge William Gleason (1679) and Thankful Trowbridge (1687), but am not having complete success. Do either of you know how to do this? James--Gunnj 11:07, 2 July 2013 (EDT)

Are you trying to merge two families or merging 2 individuals ? If individuals, go to Admin, Compare and enter ie John Smith (1) & John Smith (2), check "Match", select details you want, then "Merge" choosing the lower numbered individual "John Smith (1)"

If you are merging a couple with a duplicate couple use the "Family" mode, ie "John Smith and Mary Wilson (1)" & "John Smith and Mary Wilson (2)"

If neither is the case, answer back here with details. I'll be back about 1PM Eastern Time and readvise.

I just went ahead and merged the two couples. Hope this was your intent, with the specific marriage date and son Charles. If not correct, let me know. I'll fix after 1PM. --Neal Gardner 11:31, 2 July 2013 (EDT)
