Vol. 3, p. 524 (restricted to FHC) 27 May 1725: Thomas Ranny Sen'r of Middletown yeoman in Consideration of Love goodwill and affection which I had for my son Geroge Ranny of Midletown dec'd convey to heirs of my s'd Dec'd son [never named] a parcel of land on which their Dec'd father hath built a dwelling hous[e] Containing about sixteen acres.

Vol. 12, p. 673 17 Mar 1744: Mary Ranny of Middletown who was the Daughter of George Ranney of the aforesaid Middletown Deces'd for money and Divers Good Causes quitclaim unto to her brother George Ranney of the same Middletown her right in the house that was our fathers and also in Sixteen Acres of Land on the East Side [of] the Great River in s'd Middletown and three Acres of Plowing Land [nearby] which her Grandfather Thomas Ranney of Middletown Gave to her said Father verbally and Gave the same to the said George Ranneys Heirs by deed.
