I saw something somewhere once to suggest that the father of Sarah Edge (the wife of Thomas Bowater) was George Edge, a Quaker, born in Cheshire, England; and that the wife of the same George Edge (and mother of Sarah Edge) was named Joan, a Quaker; and that the father of the same George Edge was named Rychard Edge, born in Cheshire, England; and that the wife of the same Rychard Edge (and mother of George Edge) was named Alice Bushnell. Sorry not to have the source for any of these.
