Hello. I am a volunteer administrator here. Thank you for your recent contributions to this page. I did some standard clean up to the info, creating citations and moving cited text into the citation fields, links to online sources, etc., mostly just to demonstrate some of the formatting we typically use. Please just ask if you have any questions about why something was done.

As a quick fyi - we usually do not consider Find A Grave a source for much of anything except headstones/burial locations. and only if the memorial page has an accompanying photo or source. Contributors there often enter a lot of extraneous facts with no sources.

Regarding Samuel's middle name "Smith" - do you know if a source exists? As you can see, it doesn't appear on any of the attached records. Once we find a source, we can easily move it back up into the preferred name field.
