Surname issue? [16 May 2017]

Since we seem to have no documentation on the Miller pages and the surname is disputed by a respected Quaker scholar, I would prefer to see two Ruth pages.

 Ruth Unknown - the wife of Simon
 Ruth Miller - the daughter of the Millers.

Links can be created in the Hamm message to point to the Millers so that they don't get lost while waiting for documentation to appear. --Judy (jlanoux) 13:19, 11 May 2017 (UTC)

Status and next steps... Added link to the Miller family. (you can use this technique to add a link to any type of page) This page should be renamed to Ruth Unknown, but let's not do that until we can do a little checking. We now have:

Person:Ruth Miller (28) - wife of Simon Hadley (who may not be a Miller)
Person:Ruth Miller (41) - daughter of Robert Miller and Margaret Braithwaite (who may not exist)

This issue needs to be researched. New information may have become available since the Hamm message was written. Note that he actually disputes the existence of the Miller family. Thanks for doing that, Judy. I'm fairly inexperienced about the protocols of WeRelate, but try to contribute when I find something worthwhile. These folks are a sideline for me, so I don't know anything further about the Miller family. My main reason for posting here is that WeRelate provides more documentation than with so many other online genealogy sites. --KayS 05:51, 16 May 2017 (UTC)
