Comments left by Jrich: The burial is "probably" and the death is "before" a date after the burial: not necessarily contradictory
- I removed the death date. There is as much certainty about the burial date being hers as exists for many records of that time period.--DataAnalyst 19:32, 10 July 2023 (UTC)
- The death date removed was "Bef 18 Jul 1651" (I like to document what is removed so this discussion is more stand-alone, i.e. doesn't require studying the history to figure out what is being discussed), based on her husband's marriage. While it is true the burial date looks like it could be her, the death estimate is *not actually wrong*. It is a statement of what is known, not assumed, (like the burial date as indicated by the "probably"). Thus, it provides a hard constraint on possible death dates to benefit later posters that may come along with further information. Sometimes a rigid adherence to rules when things are not known or knowable can end up removing possibly useful information. --Jrich 19:54, 10 July 2023 (UTC)
