The Identity of the Wife of Thomas Bird [25 January 2015]

It is barely possible that the wife of Thomas Bird was a sister of Richard and William Belden. However, the only record supporting that conjecture appears to be the abstract of her husband's 1662 probate which indicates that "John Belden promist to look to her to see her provided for." John was son of Richard and nephew of William both of whom were deceased prior to 1662. I can't even find a record confirming that her baptismal name was Mary.--jaques1724 17:25, 25 January 2015 (UTC)
