Person talk:Marten Rollingswier (1)

One reliable source had the following information : But I can not hook it up to the existing information.

Rollingswier, Marten Jans, boer geb.Franeker 13.01.1792 wonende te Minnertsga, z.v. Jan Martens Rollingswier, overleden en Joukje Siemens; loteling lichting 1812 mairie Hallum; pokdalig; 06.05.1813 fuselier 124e reg. inf. onder nr.5147, 5e bat., 4e comp., 2e bat.; is in 1813 gedeserteerd; bronnen: Tresoar Coll.Visser; Raf Hallum fol.49v

This Person:Marten Rollingswier (1) was born on 31 Aug 1812. So, this must be referring to a different Marten Rollingswier. There is a family that resembles the above parents, Family:Marten Rollingswier and Sjoukje Ronda (1), but I've not yet found a child born in 1792 to that couple. How is it that you wanted to connect this to existing information? --Jennifer (JBS66) 11:41, 14 November 2011 (EST)

[14 nov 2011]

I found this article about the deserting Rollingswier, the name, birthplace and all place him in this line of the family, but I can't place him in the tree. So something must be wrong somewhere. This page was sort of a note to myself so I can pick it up later.--cabrioot 12:11, 14 November 2011 (EST)

Burial date [28 September 2012]

It appears from this site that Marten was buried in Kerkhof Marrum on 23 mei 1887 ("75 jaar, uit Amsterdam"). I searched through the tienjarige tafels for Amsterdam, and I cannot find his death certificate. --Jennifer (JBS66) 18:43, 27 September 2012 (EDT)

Well, I found it ;-) in the huwelijkse bijlagen from Jantje Rollingswier and reinder Boelens It was not Amsterdam, nut Nieuwer Amstel :-) --henk 08:37, 28 September 2012 (EDT)
