Possible Grave [12 March 2015]

I found a Lura A Carpenter on Findagrave (the photo request just came in)...the birth and death (alternate death date) are close, along with the name "Lura" as an alternate for Laura. Unfortunately the grave picture doesn't really provide any additional clues. The location (Marquette County) is somewhat helpful (my opinion) since there are other life events for her and the Carpenter's (and Jones') that occurred here. Just putting the link here for discussion since it still needs more verification. Since her husband Warren indicated he was a widow it does make you wonder if she died before 1920, or if an error was made during the census (or did he purposely say it). Lots of questions on this one.

He (or the census taker, or someone), lied. I've seen a lot more like that since I did/added that research. I'm sure the Find A Grave is hers. I'll add the 1930 Census for her, and let you deal with the Find a Grave. Gayel--GayelKnott 04:30, 13 March 2015 (UTC)

Okay, added 1920 and 1930 census records. There are two 1940 census records that probably also belong to Lura -- I'll let you decide what you want to do with them:
