Judith Reyner's birth date. [6 October 2015]

From all of the sources given on Judith's page, it SEEMS that her estimated birth year, 1638 is probably incorrect, though no original record as yet discovered satisfactorily gives her birth year. Contributing statements affecting her estimated birth year:

1. Her tombstone stating her death, 5 June 1836, in her 99th yr. (Est. birth, 1738) Possibly age at death recorded incorrectly.
2. Earliest proposed marriage year (1642) for John Reyner to Frances Clarke per dismissal (1642) to Plymouth congregation of servant Frances' employer, Rev. John Wilson.
3. Listing of John & Frances' children place Judith last (omitting last child, Joseph 1650-52) implying she was the youngest daughter.
4. The birth of an unnamed daughter in 1647 to John & Frances, tempts assigning this birth record to Judith.
5. Frances Clarke (w/o backup) often given an Est birth year of 1621.
6. Judith's current Est birth of 1638, makes her 9 yrs older than her 1st husband, 4 yrs older than her 2nd husband; possible, but questionable.

Without assigning the 1647 birth record to Judith, I'd like to give an Est 1642 to 1647 birth range for her, pending further discovery, retaining other estimates as Alt Births.--SkippyG 20:46, 6 October 2015 (UTC)
