I removed death dates of 21 Oct 1751 in Salem, and 5 Jul 1752 in Danvers. Neither one had a source, neither one in found in either Salem or Danvers VRs. Meanwhile Danvers VRs, plus will cited in History of Putnam Family says Josiah d. 1766.

Find A Grave does have a page for 21 Oct 1751 but this page has two characteristics (namely, no photo, and no cemetery) that strongly indicates it is simply somebody's research with no basis. This page indicates Josiah's father was Benjamin. According to History of the Putnam Family, p. 60, regarding Benjamin's will dated 28 Oct 1706: "All his children but Josiah are here mentioned.", so this particular Josiah is presumed to have died young. --Jrich 00:29, 4 November 2012 (EDT)
