death date [11 October 2011]

I removed the death date of "bef 25 Feb 1610/11" because this is clearly based on the baptism of John son of John Wheeler of Dossewell on 25 Feb 1610/11 (vol. 27, p. 119), and the John Wheeler who m. Elizabeth is not John Wheeler of Dossewell (his will was proved 1644 and John Wheeler of Doswell wasn't buried until 1645). In fact the death of the son of John Wheeler of Doswell is recorded in burials as 9 Aug 1604 so we can be much more precise than bef. 25 Feb 1610/11. But all that is not the John Wheeler of this family. The will of his father calls this John the eldest son which says this John Wheeler was born before Isaac who was born in 1607. It does look like there were two sons named John, the first b. 1601 and then this one, b. 22 Jan 1602/03 who survived to adulthood. The Homer Brainard article in vol. 12 makes several mistakes about this family and should be ignored. --Jrich 00:32, 12 October 2011 (EDT)
