Is there a source for attaching John Milton to these parents (Christopher and Thomasine (Webber) Milton? It seems contradicted by biographies of Milton (the poet).--Werebear 00:37, 14 June 2013 (EDT)

The answer is no - the person was created as both father and son and then linked to this family, but there is no evidence of his ancestry other than that he was English, and he was born too late to be the son of Christopher and Thomasine. I have fixed it.--DataAnalyst 22:21, 16 March 2025 (UTC)

I have now found in Shawcross's book a John Milton born between 1643 and 1652, and died 1669, who may have been a lawyer. I will put him as a separate person, as I am not sure if he is supposed to the same as the other John Milton attached to this family. They could be merged later, if it turns out they are the same person.--Werebear 14:42, 14 June 2013 (EDT)
