deeds? [3 February 2013]

Wondering if you have done any work with deeds or probate? If John left Maine for Ohio there is a good chance he sold land, and it may say that the land was given him by his father or some such description? Solomon's last data point seems to be 1810, and John shows up in Ohio in 1820. Mentioning a son John in a will wouldn't be much help, unless the description of some property matched a deed sold by John. Maine vs. Mass: same state until 1820, it probably was Mass when he was born, but his children would naturally think of it as Maine. --Jrich 14:40, 3 February 2013 (EST)
