John Bouton III did not marry Sarah Gregory [24 March 2015]

From "Additions and Corrections to History and Genealogy of the Families of Old Fairfield", pg 7: "BOUTON. John Bouton, 3rd (I: 96) m. Mary Hayes as stated; there is no evidence that he had an earlier wife, Sarah Gregory, as some accounts have stated. His son, John, 4th, m. Mercy Hickcock or Hickox, as surmised.
