The Bio of Rev. Orson Holland Morrow says he was born in Rutherford County, North Carolina on November 10, 1800. It further says that his father Jesse Morrow (son of James Morrow 1743-1826) left Orange County when he (Jesse) was 10 or 12 years old. Only an estimate. There are marriage Bonds listed for Jesse Morrow and Polly Holland in Rutherford County, NC in 1799. Jesse Morrow shows up on the 1800 census for Rutherford County. The bio further says that Jesse Morrow left Rutherford County in 1808 and moved to Kentucky. Jesse Morrow does not show up on the 1810 census for Rutherford County.
