Are there any other sources for James Leeper's Civil War service? There was no 35th Iowa Cavalry. (Iowa only had 11 regiments of cavalry. See http://iagenweb.org/civilwar/books/logan.htm .) Thanks. -- Amy (Ajcrow) 09:08, 5 May 2011 (EDT)

Hi, Amy. I'm away from home right now, and have even been away from internet for most of the week (major withdrawal symptoms). Just did a quick check on Ancestry -- looks like it should be Company G, Iowa 3rd Cavalry -- both a Service Record and a Pension Claim.
