Good, so it's the same person :-) There is a great website for Michigan death certs. from 1897-1920 - http://seekingmichigan.org. This is most likely Jacob's death certificate (the birth year is exactly 1 year off) Jacob Sinnema Jul 18, 1916 --Jennifer (JBS66) 19:04, 15 May 2011 (EDT)

What I don't understand is the name of the bride's father, Smith instead of Mills. This is the info I have of the bride : Ettie Mills was born in 1881, daughter of Henry Mills and Mathilde Mathews. Ettie died in USA. --Bensinnema 03:57, 16 May 2011 (EDT)

Her name is listed as Mills because she was married before (on the marriage cert. above, it says she was married "Once" before). She also had 2 children from this previous marriage. Her marriage to Jacob didn't last long, by 1910 she was living with her parents and 2 children and Jacob was living with his mother (and listed as single...). I can email you these census documents if you would like. You would just need to email me by going to my User page and click on More>email this user. Then I can send along attachments in response (I can't send attachments through WR's email). --Jennifer (JBS66) 06:13, 16 May 2011 (EDT)
