[add comment] [edit] Need to resolve duplicate parents [8 January 2018]Hi, Jocelyn, I see that you have listed both Henry's father and his step-father as his parents. This results in the creation of duplicate pages for Henry. The goal of WeRelate is to create a single family tree, which means eliminating duplicate pages as much as possible. In this case, only Henry's actual father should be shown as his father. If you want to give recognition to his step-father, you can use the "Adoptive Child" and "Adoptive Parent" templates (see Indicating Adoption), or some similar means. If your only concern is that he was listed in the 1891 census with his step-father's surname, then you can add that in a description field, either with the event or with the source citation, or both. If you need help with the templates, let me know. Thanks, Gayel --GayelKnott 17:08, 7 January 2018 (UTC) Thanks for bringing this to my attention Gayel, I've removed the duplicate parent link and added the AdoptiveParent template - I'll put a bit more info about this in the narrative on Edward Delowery's page once I've had time to look into it in more detail.--jocelyn_K_B 23:19, 7 January 2018 (UTC)
